The DMCA requires that your notice of infringement be submitted under penalty of perjury. It is a violation of U.S. and Canadian law to knowingly submit false claims, and doing so may result in civil penalties or criminal prosecution.

Please Investigate First‍

Submitting a DMCA takedown notice is a serious legal process. We ask that you make every effort to verify that the use of your copyrighted material is truly unauthorized before submitting a claim. You may also wish to contact the user directly before initiating the takedown request.

No Automated Bot Submissions‍

All takedown requests must be carefully reviewed by a human. Automated bots submitting bulk DMCA claims are not permitted and may result in invalid notices.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice‍

By submitting a DMCA notice, you understand that we may share your contact information and the contents of your claim with the party allegedly infringing your content, in accordance with applicable law.

DMCA Counter Notice‍

If you believe that content you posted on austinplease.com was removed in error due to a DMCA notice, you have the right to file a counter notice.

To submit a valid counter notice, please include:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the content that was removed and its prior location.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was mistakenly removed or misidentified.
Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court in Canada and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.

You may send your counter notice to the same contact address above.

If a valid counter notice is received, we may reinstate the content within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant notifies us that they have filed a court action to prevent the reinstatement.
